I am an award-winning drama and fiction writer based in Manchester, UK. My debut short story collection, Monstrous Longing, was published by Dahlia Books in October 2023 and was shortlisted for the Edge Hill Prize 2024. My story The Savage Chapel won the Cambridge Short Story Prize in 2020.

I recently adapted ANNE OF GREEN GABLES for Audible Canada, which starred Catherine O’Hara and Victor Garber, and was narrated by Sandra Oh. I also co-created and wrote the first four episodes of historical audio drama DARK HARBOUR.

My script LONG LOST was on the Brit List in 2022, and I am a graduate of both Channel 4’s 4Screenwriting Course and the BBC TV Drama Writers’ Programme. My plays have been staged in theatres across the UK, and I am currently developing a wide range of drama projects for TV. I am a BAFTA Connect member.

I am also writing my first novel, for which I received funding from Arts Council England.
